Daniel Anz is an internationally recognized equine podiatrist and creator of the innovative F-Balance® concept: the first measurable and reproducible equine hoof trimming method based on the combination of the functional sole level and the hoof’s longitudinal flexibility.
This approach makes it possible to interpret the hoof through natural references, helping the horse regain its natural balance.
Throughout his career, he has developed and structured an effective and accessible teaching system, currently delivered through an online platform and a network of 14 schools across 6 countries.
In July 2026, he reached the milestone of 500 courses taught in 24 countries, training equine podiatrists and farriers from different parts of the world.
He is the author of the books "F-Balance: Back to the Essence of Equine Podiatry" (in Inglish, German and Spanish) and "El nuevo herrador: guía práctica para el nuevo herrador de hoy" (in Spanish), that reflect his practical and simple vision.
Since I started observing the longitudinal flexibility of the hoof in 1999, my life changed forever. Since then, I have never been able to go back to traditional methods. Really, never again.
